Education makes success possible

Who is responsible for your success as a student?
- government
- teachers
- parents
- yourselves (students)
Discuss in which way the above-mentioned items can help you in the development of your education.

Education is a very important issue but sometimes it is  looked down on. We have to be aware that it is one of the most important tools we have to succeed and get our goals in life. All of us have a very important role in its good development and we all  can contritube to make it better in many different ways. I think, you students have the last word and the most important role as regards Education. That is, even though you have all kind of facilities, commodities, resources, etc if you don´t want to take advantage of it, nothing can be done.
Have a look at this video where OBAMA welcomes American students at the beginning of their academic year.
 Listen to him carefully and try to summarize his ideas focusing on the following points:
- teachers and motivation
- government and investments
- parents and support
- quitting school and lack of determination
- taking decisions about your future. Grab on your own future.
