AUSTRALIA
Australia is an epic romance set in Northern Australia in the late 1930s and 1940s. A transforming journey about romance, war, greed mistreatment, heroism, tragedy and triumph. The story deals with a period in Australia´s history when Indigenous Australians were dispossessed of their land, their children and their human rights. In the film you can see some consequences of white settlement on Australian´s original inhabitants, the development of the cattle industry, the effects of the second world war and the multicultural mix there were in the continent.
