HOME SWEET HOME!!

WHAT KIND OF HOUSE WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN? HAVE YOU GOT A DREAM HOUSE?
Plan your ideal home taking into account the following information:
1. What kind of home will it be?: flat, house, bungalow, detached, semi-detached, houseboat, etc.
2. How many rooms will it have? Describe the distribution of the house and talk about the kind of furniture you have and some of the appliances.
3. What part of the house would be your favourite? describe it and the appliances and furniture in it.
4. Where will it be?: city centre, by the beach, in the countryside, in the mountains, in the suburbs, etc.
5. What special facilities will it have?: yard or garden, tennis court, outdoor or indoor pool, gym, sauna, anything you like or you can think of.

Use some of the vocabulary seen in class, give as many details as you can and explain
your choices as well.

Renting a house, sharing  a flat with other students or asking out a home mortgage loan to buy a house are major decisions in one's life.  Listen to the words you have below ( click on housing) and  do the exercises suggested.   HOUSING

Match the words with the rooms or buildings  you would  most likely find them.
