Education is a very important issue but sometimes it is looked down on. We have to be aware that it is one of the most important tools we have to succeed and get our goals in life. All of us have a very important role in its good development and we all can contritube to make it better in many different ways. I think, you students have the last word and the most important role as regards Education. That is, even though you have all kind of facilities, commodities, resources, etc if you don´t want to take advantage of it, nothing can be done.

He says that he has talked many times about responsibility. He has talked about teachers responsibility for inspiring students and pushing them to learn, parents' responsibility for making sure they stay on track and get their homework done, about government’s responsibility for setting high standards and supporting teachers and principals and turning around schools that aren't working where students aren't getting the opportunities that they deserve. But students can have all in favor that if they don’t make an effort nothing matters, because they have a lot of responsibility on their education. The things they do today will make an effect on the country. With their skills they can develop they will provide new things or improvements in the future. Although they may have a hard life there’s no reason to have a bad attitude at school or don’t make their homework, or simply quit of school. They don't have to be afraid of what they don’t know and may ask adults can help them to stay on track and don’t give up.

2.Well, I think that the education is very important in my life, because thanks to it, I´m preparing my future and learning lots of important things that I´ll apply on my daily life.
3.I don´t really think that there is a main problem at all, I think that all the problems that are mentioned on the question are very harmful at the time of studying. Of course, there are also other problems apart from the ones mentioned before, like a bad economic situation or family problems. But well, the most harmful in my opinion are bullying and student´s apathy.
4. I want to be scientific, a physic scientific. Since last year, I´ve been loving physis¡cs and chemistry. I love learning science, so this career is perfect for me.
5. I´d like to learn a lot of vocabuary and to correct all my mistakes, in order to do the certificate exam of cambridge in some years.
6. I´ve been studying english all my life, specifically fsince I had 3 years old. I´ve never been an excellent student, and I´ve never had a good pronunciation. Of course I have a lot of mistakes, but I´m trying to correct all pf them right now, before all the official exams.
I think that my strong point in the language is the vocabulary. I´ve always studied a lot of vocabulary, and right now I know lots of words. My weak point is the grammar. I have a lot of mistakes with the tenses, confusing the present and the future.
7.Paying attention in class is the best mode to learn for me.

Education is important for me because without it I know I won't have a future. I think is the most important thing for every student in Spain. But the main problem in Spain, in the part of education, is that less parents cared about the education of their children. But in my case I know I have to study for the career I want to do, that is medicine, I hope that with the effort that I'm doing now I can succeed in the future.
An important thing for the future is the knowledge of more languages. So I hope this year I learn more vocabulary so I can use it in a writing or to know more words when I'm reading and also to understand better a book or series. I want to improve my english. I can understand someone talking or a listening but it is like a little bit harder. I don't really know in which skill I'm better or worst. The only thing I know i'm good at is at memorising things or at studying. I make summaries with simple words that I can understand so it is easier for me to study. But it is a lot of time and sometimes I need to rest, so my brain can relax. So in my free time I go swimming or I read. I think it's important to take some breaks when someone is studying. I also say to myself when I think my brain is going to explode that for having a future with all I ever wanted I have to suffer now a little bit

Education for me is very important, is the difference between having a nice future with a good job or a future in which you will need to be searching for a not very well-paid one.
For me the main problem in the Spanish education is the lack of interest of the students and this is normally due to the lack of motivation because of boring classes.
I don't really know what career I want to choose, but I am sure that nothig that has to be with being a doctor or similar.
During this year I want to improve my English listening skills.
I would describe my English skills like I have a more or less medium level but I have lots of things to improve and change, my weakenesses I think that are studying the verb tenses.
In my opinion one of the things that most help me learning is watching youtube videos of English people.
In my free time I enjoy dancing, meeting my friends, precticing sports,etc. and yes, I think that extra curricular activities because is a way of forget for an hour of the school.

Education is very important to me because is the base of my future. The main problem in Spanish schools is the bullying because he can do people feel bad with himself and the absenteeism because if you don't go to the school you don't have many possibilities to have a good future and a good life.
In the future i hope to study the law career. In this class i hope to improve my writting skills. I am very good to undestand people talking in english but i have difficulty to answer in english.
It helps to me to do a list of vocabulary an another of grammatic for me it is more easy study in this form. In my spare time i like to watch series or movies and read books this is important to me because I stress easily.

I agree with Obama. Obviously it matters the type of teachers you have or what your parents help you at, but at the end, none of these things are important if you don't do your best. The issues told in the speech happen everywhere and as he said, if we make an effort and strive we will know what we want to do in life and we will finally do it.
Another thing that I agree with him is that without education we won't be famous or one of the richest people in the world... Without education we won't even be able to get the simplest job, because of that we need it.
I think that in Spain the main two problems are the absenteeism and the student's apathy, which are together, because if a student is not interest in studying, he won't come class many times and they normally find a way to hide it to their parents.
I don't know what I am going to study yet because I want to explore all the possibilities before I have to choose a specific career.
I hope to learn in class useful things for our future job and our future daily life.

I think education is essential because it is what helps us learn what we want and by that we can get a job to have a good life. I believe the most important problems of our education are the teaching methods because if they are bad, then students will get bored and they won't be interested in learning anymore. And even though gaining money is really good, we need to find something that really interests us so we can enjoy what we do for the rest of our lives and find our passion.
I think the issues of bullying and lack of help from the people around us is being solved little by little as bullying is not as frequent as it used to and if no one close to you can help you with homework, there are teachers at academies that gladly will. If you don't have enough money for those, then there are videos on the Internet and online activities which are very good as well.
Talking about my own education, I still don't know what I want to study but I think it will be something related to science since it's the thing I like the most. But for this year I hope I can learn interesting things. One of my main goals now is to pass my First exam, and I hope our teacher helps us doing so, and also improving my listening skills. I'm good at writing and speaking is something I like too, but when doing it in public I usually get really nervous, so I hope I can improve that skill.
To improve in every subject and help myself to understand everything better, I like doing my own summaries and schemes to organize my thoughts. Having a nice teacher who helps and motivates you is a great help, too.
But when I'm not focusing on studying I like hanging out with my friends, family, listening to music and watching TV shows. It's good for us to relax and forget about exams for a bit.
But remember, never give up and with effort you will accomplish whatever you want!

Education is very important for me because i want a good future.
In my opinion, the problem in Spanish schools is bullying. A lot of people suffer it and it jas to stop.
I would love to study marketing or publicity because i like a lot interacting with people.

I think im grat at listening and understanding english. In the other hand, im not so good at reading because there is a lot of vocabulary i dont know.

The education is very important, because it is preparing me for a good future and teaching me a lot of information, which is very useful in daily life.
The main problems of education in Spain are the teaching methods; a lot of students are not interested in the subjects because the classes are too boring and hard.
I am not sure about the career I want to choose but I know that I don’t want to study anything related to science.

I think education is much more important than we think, at least, for me it is essential as my future depends on it and I think that everything I learn now will be very useful in my future daily life.
In my opinion the main problems in spanish schools are the absenteeism due to the lack of interest of the students as most of them do not realize that are their futures the ones that are affected by not going to class and also maybe the teaching methods are not the best ones to motivate the students going to class.
About my future career I don´t have any idea and I don´t even know if I want a science or letters career.
In this class I would like to improve my english and to prepare to be able to pass the first certificate exam.
I think that my english skills could be improvable, my weaknesses are the listenings, for me they are the most dificult part of the exams and the ones in which I have the worst mark.
In my opinion watching series in english helps me a lot in order to improve my english, but also paying attention in class helps a lot and it's really important.
In my free time I enjoy meeting my friends, playing sports, going shopping and watching series, and I think that extra curricular activities are really important por education because you also learn doing different things and it also helps you to forget a bit about studing and about all the highschool's stress.

For me, education is essential as it provides the necessary skills to have a good life; in other words, to succeed. I believe been educated is the basis for having a future career and a good job. Despite the fact that education is very important, not everyone studies or tries their best, and the students are not motivated. This often happens in Spain. I hardly know what the reason is, but from my point of view I think it's mainly because the parents are not interested or don't implicate on their child's education. Another big problem related to education in Spain is bullying, which is slowly being solved.
For now, my dream career would be chemical engineering. I made this decision last year, when I realised how much I liked my physics and chemistry class. And if I don't study chemistry, at least I'd do something related to science. But who knows if I change my mind in a few years.
For this year´s english class I hope to learn more vocabulary, as it is one of my weak points. Another weakness of mine is writing essays or texts in a short period of time. Meaning, if I have I lot of time I can write good texts, but if I don´t have much time, no. On the other hand, I'm proud of saying that normally I'm good at listening. I think this is due to the films and series I watch in their original language, english. Also, I wouldn't consider this a strength, but I think I pronounce in a normal-good way. My general good english skills are due to the summaries I make, the videos, films and series I watch and the books I read in english.
In my free time I like to read, mainly science fiction books, listen to all kind of music and sometimes, draw. I go to a choir every week as well.
For this year goals, what I remind myself is: with effort and dedication you can get anything.

In my opinion , the education is so important in life , first because the education help us in our future in order to have a good work , good salary , good life... and second because the education also help us to have education , respect towards the people.
I think that the problem in the education is the interest that the teenagers have toward the subjects and the desire in learn new things , maybe is because the lessons are boring and the teachers can make them more entertaining or maybe is only that the teenager not want to do nothing with his/her ife.
I still don't know very well , what i am going to do in my future but surely i am going to go to the police academy to be a police inspector.
This year i hope to improve my english because for me is so bad , i think i don't have any ablities in english , the grammar is the worst part for me in englis and then the listenings , in my case the thing that help me to understand better the english , is watching videos on youtube or series and doing exercise to practise my grammar.
In my free time , i listen music all the time , i dance , i go with my friends and this things help also to distract you and clear your mind.

Obama is absolutely right in what he has said. Of course people around you are important, but each of us must strive to achieve the future we want. I could not say something in special of the speech because there has not been anything that I did not like. He's talking about American students, but in this case we're all the same. There are thousands of things he has named that can happen to us as well. We have to fight for our future without any excuse.

I totally agree Obama's speech, obviously our parents and teachers are involved in our decisions and behaviours, but we are the ones that have to go to school, to pay attention in class, to study at home and to decide what type of future do we want, taking into account that our future country depends on it. I liked the whole speech and he's right in everything. He is talking about his country, but it's obvious that it's equal for all the countries, that we are the ones that decide the future of our own country and that we should always try again and again without giving up to get what we want.

Education is a very important value and is influenced by two factors: the family and the school. For me, the main problem in schools is the lack of parental involvement because education is also learned at home, not only at school. And if parents teach a good education to their children, several problems could be avoided, like bullying. I still dont know what career to choose. This year I hope to learn many new things. The good thing is, I understand when they speak to me in English but I find it a bit difficult to answer, I have a low intermediate level and I would like to improve it. I have never listen before to this speech, but I really like it. Obama has a very special way to transmit and I totally agree with what he have said.
His words are full of motivation and I am sure that most of the students that where there recovered the desires.
I like the ideas he has about joining extracurricular classes or helping the community doing something, like this students will feel better, beacause they will do activities that they really like and the will be useful, forgeting like this the school presure for a moment.
He speaks about education in America, but we can apply it to any country of the world, the future of the world depends on the new generations, on us, on all the students that one day will start working and trying to make a better world.
1. I totally agree with him. I think he exposed his ideas very well and also I loved how he expressed his thoughts, showing us examples of personal growth, of very important people nowadays that did not have the opportunity of studying in good schools at first, but with work and effort they finally succeded.
I really found it very encouraging and motivational. He supports every single student to work hard and try them best, in order to have a good future and help their country. IN coclusion, the most important message that he gave in the speech was that you do not even need to have the best schoools, teachers... You are the one that needs to work hard.
I feel very identified at all. At first I thought education was innecessary. I found some things that I was studying very boring and I did not thing I will need to know that in the future. But luckily I recosidered it and I started to value more the education.

Obama´s speech is so powerful that I think every student from every country should watch it. Apart from powerful, it´s encouraging and it has motivated me to give my best this school year.
I liked the part where he said that even though our parents, our teachers and the government affect to our education, we are the ones that have to be motivated, that have to pay attention to our teachers and the ones that need to try our best at school. We are the ones that have to set our own goals and give everything in order to achieve them. And of course, I liked when he said that we are the future of our country, because it's definitely true.
In spite of the fact that his speech was about American education, plenty of the problems are also found in my country. And example is the one about students with problems that affect their studies.
The most important thing that I get from his speech is that if I ever have a problem or I don't understand something, to always ask for help. It is something that I, and many other students, don't usually do, when we should.

In my opinión Obama's speech was great. He talk to encourage every student to study for having a future, a good one. He wants to make us understand that the future of the world and ours is in our hands and that if it is difficult to keep trying until we finally succeed. I like the ideas of looking for help when we needed, because not everybody ask for help when something is very difficult to understand. Also I like what issues he says that some people had but that people try harder and succeed. I don't face any of the issues but even I don't face them I work hard every day.

I think he's a huge inspiration not just for young people and students but for everyone, as he tries his best to help everyone feel good and that is something he reflects in his speech. I find it very encouraging that he's trying to let people see how important it is to study and listen to our teachers and elders not just for the people around us to be proud and for the development of our countries but for ourselves, because we need to find the thing that we enjoy doing and we're good at to gain a good future and do our best. I think he's trying to be like a figure to those who can't find any support on their family and friends. This speech was meant for americans but it's something we all can identify with because as students we all go through similar problems. Most of the people in our country are unable to find a reason to continue their studies and I think everyone who thinks this way should watch this because Obama's speech is very powerful and it would for sure make them think about it again.
