1.1. The White House was decorated with about 800 ornaments and some of them is the great Christmas Tree. In the Christmas Tree of the White House was been decorated with Christmas Balls of all countries of America.

The white House was decorated with 800 ornaments leftover from previous administrations. They covered the windows with Christmas decorations and they decorated many rooms of the house with Christmas trees with lights and Christmas tree ornaments.

The thing that is special about this year's decoration is that they asked them to decorate christmas ball to pay tribute to a favorite local landmark or a place.

1. The White house was decorated about 800 ornaments. They took a big christmas tree and 92 volunteers cooperated.
2.We sent balls to 60 groupsand asked them to decorate them and then, send back to their for display at te White House.

You are right in your answers, although pay attention to the use of tenses you have done. You have some missing endings... for example you have forgotten the "ing" in present continuous, the past suffix, etc.

2- the special thing was that 60 ornaments was sending to community groups for that they decorate them with a tribute to the area that they like it and sent back for to decorate Xmas tree and all visitors could see their ornaments.

1- The Xmas meaning is to show respect to people and to help people who have problems.

I'm from Romania and yes, we celebrate Christmas just like in Spain, there's just a little diference. During Christmas night, specially children go to houses and sing carols, people can receive them inside or not. If yes they give them food, cookies, etc and sometimes even money.
